Try Outs - This is Not a Story

pixnstories-028-copy.jpg

A post about Blogsvertise interests me. The site has a very clear narrative about how the process works. It explains how to obtain a great opportunity and earn extra cash. I thought I can try the blog entries option where you write about the topic assigned to you in two (2) to three (3) paragraphs with three (3) text links to the advertiser’s page in your post.

My membership in Blogsvertise is yet to be approved. Of course I would want that my blog be approved. It would be another interesting dimension in photoblogging to earn extra cash, and to assist in the promotion of ads in one way or another. But it would be more interesting still to blog about photos and short stories and I hope Blogsvertise would assign tasks that I could blog about with enthusiasm and curiosity. What could be more engaging than to blog about things that one loves to blog about. :-D So, here’s a toast to my new endeavor. Cheers!

Two teenage girls were talking…

“I learned that in Japan, monuments, too, are built for cartoonists.”

“Really? By simply being a cartoonist?”

“Don’t look down on cartoonists, it’s a respected and noble job.”

(silence)

“Actually, I am thinking of becoming a Japayuki.”

“I Want to be an Actress like Raiza Cenon!”

The little girl watches the woman in a black blouse as she shoots pictures of her brothers. The brothers do not want to cooperate at first but when they saw the pictures in the digital camera, they finally obliged.

“She is a talent coordinator, I tell you,” the little girl’s aunt teased. It was then that the woman noticed the little girl. “You want me to shoot your pictures?” she asked. The little girl shakes her head cautiously.

“Why are you silent now? She will send your pictures to the television channel. Let her take your pic. You can be like your favorite Raiza Cenon.” This with a wink from the little girl’s aunt. Finally the little girl beamed and nodded her yes. Her shining eyes speak, “I am an actress now,” while the woman in black takes the shot.
