He had to do it. He had to tell the Boss it was her who’s at fault here. He knows it is not her who had made the wrong decision. It was her superior. But she had to be out of the way or else she would be telling the Boss what he had failed to do for his department.

He had succeeded. He had put her in bad light. But they had just made it easier for her to go without that much worries. They had given her a valid reason to go. They do not deserve her.
